When we talk about “the pleasures of God,” we are entering sacred ground. So often, we think about what pleases us our comfort, our desires, our plans but Scripture invites us to consider what delights the heart of our Heavenly Father. In Psalm 147:11, it says, “The Lord takes pleasure in those who fear Him, in those who hope in His mercy.” This isn’t about performance; it’s about posture. God is not looking for perfection, but for people who humbly trust Him, who stand in awe of His power, and lean into His grace. That, according to the Word, brings God pleasure. Imagine that our faith-filled obedience moves the heart of Almighty God.



As believers, especially in a time when the world chases fleeting satisfaction, we are called to pursue what pleases the Lord. This is not a burden, but a joy. At Our Christian Walk Ministry here in West Palm Beach, we are passionate about aligning our lives with what brings God joy because that’s where we find our own deepest satisfaction. Whether through worship, service, prayer, or daily faithfulness, we walk not to earn God’s favor, but because we already have it in Christ. And when we live like that, God is pleased. What a beautiful and humbling truth.
